Being a PC Gamer, i have tried a lot of controllers and i cant help but feel like the TERIOS T3+ gamepad is one of the top choices if you are looking for a budget bluetooth game controller for your Smartphone, PC or tablet.
The TERIOS T3+ has been around for a while but i just recently laid my hands on it after purchasing it from JUMIA Global. It has a button layout which is quite similar to that of the PlayStation 3 Controller although it comes with the XBOX360 ABXY buttons.
It is really lightweight and very comfortable to hold with rubber grips at the side of the handle and doesn’t look or feel cheap. The buttons are really responsive and provide a nice haptic feedback and the analog sticks also work really well with no issues at all. It comes with a 500mAh inbuilt battery which s rechargeable using a USB2.0 cable and last for about 6 hours. The TERIOS T3+ does not come with a phone bracket clip though, that has to be purchased separately.
It works with Android and Windows platforms flawlessly through Bluetooth connectivity but with ios, the device has to be jailbroken. The connection instructions are available on the user manual which is included in the box. When used with Windows, the XBOX360 emulator app called X360ce can be used to make the TERIOS T3+ work on most games. After a few months with the TERIOS T3+, i have never experienced any automatic disconnections during gameplay .
With a the push of the HOME button it can switch between GAMEPAD mode and MOUSE mode. The MOUSE mode lets you move the cursor on you PC or Smartphone using the Analog Sticks with the L1 and R1 buttons acting as the Left-Click and Right-Click buttons respectively, while the Y button for Volume Up and A button for Volume Down.
The only Cons to the TERIOS T3+ is probably the fact that it does not vibrate like the DualShock or Xbox360 controllers but that’s a small price to pay for getting such an awesome game controller at a very affordable price.
