Infinix Hot 6 Pro to feature Dual rear Cameras and a Snapdragon Processor

Introducing the Infinix Hot 6, the successor of infinix Hot 5 Pro. The Infinix Hot 6 Pro will be launched alongside the Hot 6 budget smartphone from Infinix. The Mobile phone giant has been teasing the upcoming device on their page on Facebook and if everything goes as planned, the Infinix Hot 6 and Hot 6 Pro will be unveiled in the month of May 2018. This is coming just months after the Infinix Hot S3 midrange device was launched in Nigeria.

The Hot 6 Pro will come with improved features which is, bigger internal storage space and RAM size. The device is expected to follow the trend of full view smartphones with 18:9 aspect ratio.  The Hot 6 Pro packs dual rear camera, houses a Snapdragon chip, a Quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the Box.

DESIGN

The Infinix Hot 6 Pro will retain the polycarbonate design and is expected to be lightweight as well. The first thing you would notice at the rear is the dual rear cameras which definitely adds to the beauty of the device.

Besides the dual shooters lies the dual-LED flash, while the fingerprint scanner sits in its usual position. Turning over to the sides, it measures 7.8 mm in thickness and weighs 145g just like how Infinix makes them. It should be available in Red, Gold and Black colours

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

Under the hood is the Snapdragon 425 chip from Qualcomm with a faster 4-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. The processor here reaches a clock speed of 1.4 GHz and the Adreno 308 graphics processor from Qualcomm takes care of graphics.

Unlike the Hot 6, the Pro variant comes with 3GB RAM for a smooth multitasking experience of heavy apps. While for storing files, the storage space has been expanded further to 32GB. But if you need more space, then using a memory will be ideal as you can upgrade up to 128GB. The Hot 6 Pro runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with XOS 3.0 Hummingbird.

CAMERA

The dual 13MP + 2MP shooter should perform like a single 13MP camera. Although the 2MP will assist in Portrait mode, even though this might not be as great like on most flagships. Nonetheless, it comes with other quality features you can use to beautify your photography, there’s a dual-LED flash for night photography as well.

Easily record videos of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second. At the top bezel, the 8MP selfie camera is ready for all your selfie needs. There’s a front LED flash as well for night selfies and video calls.

The Infinix Hot 6 Pro is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 4000mAh battery with fast charging technology (Quick charge 3.0).
