Smartisan Nut Pro 2 is an elegant looking midrange smartphone that has been trending online for a while now. The smartphone exudes class and style no doubt, with a sleek body and attractive bezel-less display.
Though the Smartisan name might seem like an unknown brand, they are definitely waves with every release.
On the inside, the device houses the Snapdragon 660 chip with a fast octa-core processor. There’s a 6GB RAM and up to 256GB storage space version, and the device also spots the trending dual rear camera. Let’s see what else the Smartisan Nut Pro 2 has to offer.

The Metal body on the Nut Pro 2 was designed to perfection. The device was practically made on a Sunday and would turn heads at a gathering. There’s also a glass on the Metal BV body, making it more premium and sleek.
We can see how the dual rear cameras are horizontal at the top left corner, the main shooter is also bigger than the other shooter. A LED flash sits beside the dual cameras, completing the horizontal train. It measures 7.4mm in thickness and weighs 156g overall. You can get it in Black, Red and White colours.
The Nut 2 Pro dishes out an 18:9 aspect ratio with its bezel-less screen, the screen got all the way to the sides leaving no room for side bezels. While the top and bottom bezel are super minimal, only the selfie camera is present at the top bezel.
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
The brain behind this device is the Snapdragon 660 chip from Qualcomm which is an 8-core processor with 64-bit CPU architecture. The octa-core processor here runs at a smooth speed of 2.2GHz with 14nm process technology handling all your tasks. The Adreno 512 graphics processor dominates graphics.
There are two variants in terms of RAM, there’s one with 6GB and a cheaper variant with 4GB. Both RAM space reaches be a memory speed of 1.8GHz as well. There are four versions in terms of storage, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB variants. Nonetheless, the smaller variants are upgradeable up to 256GB with a memory card. Running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system with Smartisan UI 4.0.
Sony met Samsung at the rear of this device, there’s a combination of a 12MP IMX386 Exmor RS CMOS Sensor from Sony + 5MP S5K4E8 Sensor from Samsung. The 12MP shooter has f/1.8 aperture, 6P Lens, 4.96 x 3.72 mm Sensor Size, 1.23 um Pixel Size and a Blur filter glass.
While the second 5MP shooter from Samsung has f/2.0 aperture and 1.4 um Pixel Size. The cameras come with lots of quality features and a LED flash as well. The 16MP selfie camera has f/2.0 aperture.
